Groups, courses, and retreats

Amanda particularly enjoys leading groups and getting to know the participants.  This is Amanda and one of her "students" in a C.S. Lewis course at The College of William & Mary's Christopher Wren Association.

I was very impressed with what you were doing this morning.
This class is clearly a winner!
Thanks for teaching for us.

Student testimonials...

"Amanda is a great teacher.  Her sense of humor and her class encouragement are greatly appreciated.  This was a fun learning experience and I am encouraged to take more courses."

"I thought this was an excellent class.  She is a great instructor and she was so thoughtful of all the class comments and questions.  I will look forward to taking another class that she teaches. One great job!!!"

"Amanda was a wonderful teacher.  She is very well qualified and knowledgeable about the content of the course and related information.  She was very skilled in letting discussions wander and inclusive of others and their opinions, yet she could refocus the discussion if it was headed down a rabbit trail."

"Excellent material with an expert facilitator."

Excitement: "Between the Sheets"

Amanda spoke to a capacity crowd at A Women's Quest: Women's Health Symposium, sponsored by the United Way.  Her talk was entitled "Between the Sheets."

Women left the presentation with a few tips and tricks on how to rekindle their intimate relationships. The symposium was held at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virgnia.

“Amanda Deverich was a wonderful addition to the speaker lineup for the United Way of Greater Williamsburg Women’s Leadership Council Wellness Symposium in Fall 2013. The full day of event activities featured over 30 speakers in various breakout sessions and Amanda’s session was one of the most highly attended. Amanda provided an engaging talk on exploring intimacy and relationships and guests were excited to hear insights froman experienced and inspiring professional. We certainly want Amanda back next year!”

Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting

"'The Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting' seminar at James River Elementary School was very well-received.  Everyone was able to walk away with concrete parenting tools to put into immediate action. Amanda's presentation was both professional and humorous.  It was easy to understand how to incorporate the concepts from all levels of parenting styles. I highly recommend attending any of her seminars and suggest that ALL parents and teachers would benefit tremendously from the power-packed content of the variety of parenting subjects available from her."

Jennifer Metcalf,

2010-2011 PTA President, James River Elementary

“I invited Mrs. Deverich to participate as a breakout session speaker for Poquoson City School’s ‘Parenting in the 21st Century  Workshop’.  I received outstanding feedback from the parents ...  Those in attendance described Mrs. Deverich as an engaging and informative presenter that provided ready to use parenting tools.  I was particularly impressed by her professionalism...”
