Art Therapy

Creative art therapy is a nationally accredited mental health profession in which clients and therapists use art and the creative process to explore feelings. Art therapy offers a unique way to explore thoughts and emotions in a gentle and less direct way. Art therapy sessions are not always about art in the traditional sense, and making art in a therapy session is completely optional and no experience with visual art is necessary. Clients will have the option to create art and work with a range of materials, but often the focus is more on the creative process and how it is approached individually.
